Are you trying to decide between a destination wedding or a traditional wedding?  There are several factors that you should take into consideration when trying to decide between these two types of weddings.  Fortunately, regardless of the type of wedding you decide upon, you are certain to create amazing memories that you will cherish forever.  Nonetheless, here are a few things you should consider when trying to decide which type of wedding you want.

Considering the Destination Wedding

Ironically, a destination wedding can be inexpensive or very costly. If you plan a destination wedding with a small guest list, the cost can potentially be quite minimal - particularly if your guests are willing and able to pay for their own travel expenses.  On the other hand, a destination wedding can be quite expensive if you need to help your guests arrive at the destination.  If cost is a factor, you might want to consider having a destination wedding and then having a celebration closer to home for your friends and family.

One of the great benefits to having a destination wedding is that you can focus your expenses toward traveling to a destination you have always dreamed of visiting.  In addition, you can create a truly romantic wedding ceremony by choosing the right location.  At the same time, you may want to get married somewhere closer to home so you can create new memories in your town.

Considering the Traditional Wedding

Just as with the destination wedding, you can have a traditional wedding for relatively low cost or you can spend a great deal of money on the event.  For those women who have long dreamt of a traditional wedding, there simply is no replacement for having this type of wedding.  Therefore, you may feel as if you are selling yourself short by having a destination wedding.  Similarly, your friends and family may feel left out if you do not have a traditional wedding.  When it comes down to it, however, this is your special day and you and your future spouse need to plan the type of wedding that you will both cherish forever.
