Are you trying to figure out how to incorporate your wedding favors into your reception?  Obviously, you will want to choose a favor that suits your wedding theme and that will please your guests to receive.  But, how exactly are you supposed to get those favors into the hands of your guests?  You may be surprised by the many different options that you have.

Option #1:  The Place Setting

One of your options is to place the wedding favor at the place settings of your guests.  With this option, you may place one favor at each seat or you may create a centerpiece that is made with the favors.  If you choose the latter option, just be certain there are enough favors in the centerpiece for each seat at the table.  In addition, add a little note on the centerpiece or make an announcement during the reception to make certain the guests know that their wedding favors are in the centerpiece.

Option #2:  Put it in the Car

You might also want to consider placing the wedding favors inside of the cars of your guests.  This way, they can be surprised by the gift when they get back into their vehicles.  For this option to work, however, you will need to have a valet at your wedding and the valet will need to be instructed to leave a wedding favor for each of the passengers in the vehicle.

Option #3:  The Parting Gift

If putting the wedding favors in the vehicles of your guests seems a little too risky for you, you might want to hand the favors out as a parting gift as your guests leave.  This option is particularly useful if you are having a buffet-style reception rather than a more formal sit-down dinner.  It is also convenient for your guests because they do not have to worry about trying to keep track of their favor.  Rather, they can simply grab their favor from a table near the exit as they leave.

Regardless of the option you choose, make certain to purchase enough favors for each of your wedding guests - including the children.  It is also a good idea to purchase some extra favors, as there is always a chance that some will get broken or otherwise damaged.  By having a few extras on hand, you can make certain none of your guests leave empty-handed.
