Are you looking for a special way to transport yourself and your future spouse back and forth from your wedding venue to your reception?  If so, you will probably be looking into renting a limo for your special day.  After all, the last thing you want to do is drive around in an old minivan or truck that lacks style or pizzazz!  Before you rent the limo, however, there are a few things you need to keep in mind in order to make certain you get the most out of your special mode of transportation.

Getting the Timing Down

The most important part of renting a limo is to make certain it arrives at its destinations on time. You certainly don’t want to be stuck waiting on the limo when it comes time to go off to your reception or to get started on your honeymoon.  Therefore, be certain to communicate times clearly with the limo provider in order to ensure the transportation is where it needs to be.

Communicate the Arrangements

Often, couples rent limos to drive the wedding party to the big event.  With the help of a limo service, you can be certain everyone arrives on time.  In addition, by having everyone gathered together in the limo, it gives the bridal party the opportunity to discuss last minute details and to de-stress before the big event.  But, in order to make this happen, you need to be certain to communicate the transportation arrangements with everyone involved in the party so they will all be ready to go when the limo arrives.

Determine How Many Limos are Needed

In many cases, it is best to rent more than one limo.  This way, the men and the women can arrive separately and the bride doesn’t have to worry about being seen by the groom.  This also makes it easier to pick everyone up, as the women can be transported to the beauty salon and to the wedding venue together.  After the wedding ceremony is over, the men and women of the bridal party can be transported to the reception venue in one limo and the bride and groom can ride together in the other.

Although renting a limo or two can be costly, it adds an even greater level of class to the wedding events.  In addition, it actually helps with running the event in a far smoother manner and making sure everyone arrives on time and looks his or her very best.
